Known for its village community feel and green open spaces a stone’s throw away from central London.
Fulham SW6 is an affluent residential district in south west central London. The area attracts professionals, young European and American families looking to upsize, and long-established British residents ready to downsize. Large family Terraced Victorian Lion Houses, period flat conversions and The Peterborough Estate define the area. The generous green open spaces offer an abundance of parks and sporting leisure grounds such as Bishops Park and the highly sought after Hurlingham Club. A City-meets-Countryside haven, Fulham offers a good selection of transport links equidistant to central London and Heathrow airport. A perfect foundation for raising a family due to good primary schools and its typical village feel, with local restaurants and independent businesses alike all immediately reachable by short walking distances to New King's Road, Parsons Green and The Munster Village.
Just south of the river from Fulham, Battersea SW11 remains a largely British and European residential part of the capital. It is known for its substantial 200 acres recreational park, Battersea Park, whilst Northcote Road and Battersea Square share plenty of amenities from local restaurants, shops, bars and pubs. On the other side of the park, Nine Elms SW8 is undergoing major regeneration for a large, brand new business and residential quarter. In recent years, the area has witnessed a surge of mixed-use new development projects and major names setting up here. Battersea Power Station, Apple’s new European HQs and the recent relocation of the American Embassy all add to the transformation the local landscape and is a direct result of rapidly increasing local property values. 2020 will also see the opening of two further tube stations for increased connectivity.
